Heyyyyy, friends!

Wow. It’s a new year! I know, I know… Its been for almost two weeks now, ha. But this is my happy new year to you, from me post. :) Also, a bit of reflecting on 2012 and what I want to work on in 2013.

So to start… 2012 brought wonderful things & I also learned SO much. I shot over 30+ sessions, I met so many people – who I now call friends, I started my first senior rep. program, I worked with amazing make up artists, I worked with awesome photographers, mentored from great photogs. to better my business, focused on personal shoots that have inspired me, hosted a few giveaways, was featured on a magazine blog, got to shoot weddings and soooo much more. For that, I am thankful. I never imagined myself to be where I am @ now since starting professionally in 2010. Thanks to all of my clients from 2010-2012 who have stayed with me, I’m glad you all enjoy my work and trust me to capture your memories!

So what will 2013 bring & what are my goals? Those are always the first things I think of when a new year rolls around. I did a LOT of thinking – & you all know me, I pretty much suck at blogging. I try my best though! If you’ve been keeping up with me on my Facebook page, I am super thankful for all of my supporters from everywhere & I wouldn’t be here w/o you all. *hugs.

With that being said, my first goal is to blog after every session this year and also keep in touch with all of you here. Feel free to leave me a message if I haven’t followed your blog so I can keep up to date w/ you – no scammers though – please and thank you :)

I also want to be able to share what I know about photography – questions, start Monday makeovers again and so much more!

Next, I’d like to really focus on just family + children and minimal weddings this year. That is where my passion lies and I want it to shine through :)

Business wise, I’d like mentor more from other photographers, stay more organized, keep ALL receipts no matter what, and also balance family + work, + school + my business.

2013, I am beyond ready for you!
