Nicole and Matt, Engaged – Rochester, Minnesota Photographer

As always, the weather = bipolar. It was seriously non-stop storms every week – Nicole, Matt and I had to reschedule the engagement session twice BUT like they say, the third times a charm! The weather was B E A U T I F U L. We started out the evening at Silver Lake Park – Nicole had mentioned that Matt proposed to her on one of the bridges (how romantic, ahh)! So we decided to go back to the same bridge to set the mood ;). Of course, Matt (the jokester), kept us both laughing – I loved it because Nicole automatically had this look of “love” when that happened. This is one of the reasons why I love capturing “Love”. It is so easy to see in all of my couples I’ve worked with – You just know they both are meant to be. I know, I’m talking more than usual but one last note – Check out the super cute, DIY heart chalkboard Nicole made!! Yeah, I’m definitely thinking about making some now, lol. Thanks lovebirds for spending the evening with me, it was a blast! I cannot wait till your wedding day – Just 2 1/2 more months.

Their love story.

Der Chang – Headshots | Rochester, MN Photographer

So… who is this Der Chang? Its my amazing cousin – She is also a photographer! I kindly asked her if we could do head shot swaps – you know, you do mine & I’ll do yours. She thought it was a great idea as well. I thought it would be great to get professional photos of myself for my website & blog – since I don’t have any… I’m so camera shy, seriously. haha! Check out my headshots of Der below! :)
