What a beautiful wedding. There was quiet. There was laughter. The weather? It was an overcast day but it always brings airy & beautiful lighting. & of course lots of love in the air. I do love this time of year though – summer ends and it gets cozier. I’ve been looking forward to this day when Bryann and Max connected with me last summer. I had documented Max’s sister’s wedding (Tessa) – How cool is that & how blessed am I? *hugs to ya’ll.
I met with Bryann at the Rochester Golf and Country Club – A beautiful venue by the by. They had a cute little bridal suite where Bryann was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Followed by a first look which I loved! Bryann and Max wrote vows to each other and read it before the ceremony. The details, ya’ll. It is so important to have this time together. First looks don’t just have to be about seeing each other for the first time but it can be about sharing your feelings about your new beginning together alone. Throughout the wedding day, there isn’t a lot of time to have one-on-one time; I always recommend a first look. It also smoothes out your timeline as well to allow more time for photos and more time for celebrating with your family and friends.
These two are the most chill individuals I’ve ever crossed paths with. They planned an easy going, classic, low key wedding and focused on their loved ones. I feel lucky to have couples who trust my vision 100% and put their faith in me to document a special day they’ve planned for x months x years. I’m so happy they found each other and I wish them all the best in their future together!
Lots of love! -M
